Spirit Omega is seeking a Recruiter in Calgary, AB.

Job Description:

  • This position requires an outgoing personality, a can-do attitude, organizational skills, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Full cycle recruitment; posting jobs, sourcing, screening, pre-employment screening, interviewing, and on-boarding
  • Negotiating job offers, contract terms, and other employment related conditions
  • Developing job descriptions, advertisements, and other related documents
  • Prepare and write candidate profiles and present to prospective client
  • Revamp resume’s and provide interview and employment coaching
  • Hiring for all positions including temporary, contract and/or permanent
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with clients and candidates
  • Assisting in business development for new contracts and job orders
  • Manage applicant database to track applicants, review resumes, and move candidates through hiring pipeline
  • Represent Spirit Staffing at career fairs, trade shows, events, and online through social media
  • Attend and participate in events for networking and business development
  • Supporting the rest of the recruitment team when required

Qualifications:

  • 1 - 3 years full-cycle recruitment experience with strong staffing and/or customer service experience.
  • Previous involvement with Indigenous organizations and communities is an asset.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to build and strong relationships with people at all levels of an organization.
  • Must be authorized to legally work in Canada.
  • Positive working attitude with exceptional organizational and leadership skills.
