  • Length of assignment: 1 year.
  • Shift Schedule: 12 hrs 5 on, 4 OFF, 5 on, 5 OFF, 4 on, 5 OFF/12 hrs 5 OFF, 4 on, 5 OFF, 5 on, 4 OFF, 5 on.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure material availability is available for execution of work and communicated to the Planner/Scheduler in a timely manner.
  • Work in conjunction with the Staging Technicians, Material Coordinator and FLS/Maintenance coordinators to ensure smooth transitions of material from the point of receipt to the workface and vice versa.
  • To adhere to the Business Owned Storage Guidelines and perform aged material reports on stored material.
  • Oversee material returns to the vendor or warehouse for credit.
  • Vendor returns for unused material, R&R returns, surplus or asset recovery & warranty claims.
  • Supports safety culture in a manner consistent with a "NOBODY GETS HURT" mindset. Daily / Weekly Operation.
  • On a continuous basis monitor material availability & confirm ETA’s based on the 4 week outlook schedule (HMAT Spread sheet). Identify issues and update material status report.
  • Identify material issues which could create conflict for the week 1 schedule.
  • Provide Material Handlers (if available) IWBK report to physically confirm material status for the upcoming week 1 schedule. (Issued Friday to be returned on Monday)or MC to perform.
  • Attend the Pre-Schedule Development meeting to confirm material availability for week 1 schedule (Tuesday).
  • Provide wo material lists to the Material Handlers (if available) for kitting, in preparation for the beginning of the new schedule cycle.
  • Create timely shipping requests for material/RnR/warranty. Notify shipping if special arrangements are required for large items.
  • Update RnR spread sheet with equipment out for RnR and communicate to business team.
  • Perform reverse reservations for credit returns to the warehouse. Interact with the Inventory Specialists as required.
  • Helping planners communicate with the vendors for the required RGA’s (Return Goods Authorization number) on vendor returns.
  • Monthly - Create aged material reports & issue to MAL to review with the BT’s.
  • Work with MAL/ Business Team to address aged material (surplus or returned).
  • Repair and Return Inventory managed as per guidelines.
  • Daily tours.

Experience/Education:

  • Parts Ticket or Material handling background would an asset but not a requirement.
  • Forklift certificate must require.
  • Is knowledgeable in the Maintenance Planning & Scheduling cycle.
  • Able to organize and prioritize daily work, provide the necessary information for the cross shift and work with minimal supervision.
  • Experience working with SAP.
