Company Overview Office Location: Toronto, ON (Remote) Contract Duration: 6 Months. Language: English. Key Responsibilities:
Provide release train engineer support services including, but not limited to, coordinating the teams from a product standpoint to help ensure that multiple teams working on the same release product and features plan and execute as a single release train, identifying and managing risks, facilitating release planning meetings, supporting the scrum of scrums, and resolving and escalating impediments
Facilitates ART level ceremonies such as PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, Sprint Demos, Inspect and Adapt
Coach team members and other stakeholders in SAFe and Agile practices, as needed
Work with management to ensure smooth rollout of SAFe to the organization, including providing input and direction to help establish department standards and procedures
Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant internal stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
Measure performance using appropriate project management tools and techniques
Report and escalate to management as needed
Manage the relationship with the client and relevant stakeholders
Perform risk management to minimize potential risks
Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project
Delegate project tasks based on junior staff members' individual strengths, skill sets, and experience levels
Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals
Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis
Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members
Use and continually develop leadership skills
Perform other related duties as assigned
Develop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needs
Assists Engagement Manager with status reporting as required by the SuMMit Technology Leadership Team.
Responds proactively to both business and program issues and escalates appropriately.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience working in supporting multiple software projects in various IT roles.
5+ years of Program Management or RTE experience.
A solid knowledge and understanding of functionality within SWIFT applications preferred.
Must have in-depth knowledge of software development lifecycles including Agile development and testing. SAFe Agile Preferred.
Familiarity with SharePoint, S4 HANA, MS Project, ServiceNow, Azure Dev Ops, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, Salesforce
Prior experience that demonstrates good business understanding is needed (experience in a professional services organization is a plus)
Demonstrated ability in applying repeatable processes and methods to enterprise wide technology projects or initiatives.
Excellent written and verbal communications, organization, analytical, planning and leadership skills.
Strong management, communication, technical and remote collaboration skill are a must.
Experience in dealing with multiple projects and cross-functional teams, and ability to coordinate across teams in a large matrix organization environment.
Ability to effectively conduct detailed discussions directly with Project/Product management.
Excellent team collaboration skills.
Strong relationship building and maintaining skills. Fosters a climate conducive to establishing positive working relationships with clients (internal and external).
SAFe 5 RTE Certification is a plus.
Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) is a plus
Familiarity with SharePoint, MS Project, S4 HANA, Azure Dev Ops, Salesforce and Microsoft suite.
Experience working with Agile development processes.
Experience in packaged SDLC
