Case Manager - Indigenous

Indigenous - Calgary, AB, Canada - Full Time

Our client is seeking the ideal candidate who will have demonstrated comprehensive knowledge of Indigenous people’s unique histories, languages, cultural practices, spiritual beliefs, and knowledge systems; excellent organizational and communication skills; knowledge of youth homelessness, community resources and experience in case management. We are looking for an individual who shares our clients core values of Respect, Trust, Empathy, Genuineness and Commitment.

The successful candidate has:

  •  A degree or diploma in Human Services
  • Indigenous Canada Course (University of Alberta) or equivalent Indigenous Studies Course
  • Three (3) years’ experience working with Indigenous youth
  • Strong writing, organizational, program planning and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with HMIS data is preferred
  • Knowledge of the Natural Supports Framework and Trauma Informed Practice Framework
  • Current standard First Aid Certification and Suicide Intervention Training
  • Valid Driver’s license and adequate insurance coverage
  • The successful candidate must also have a Child Welfare Intervention Check and Police Check (current within 6 months)

Salary Range:   $48,318.00 - $53,331.00 annually
