Our well established oil & gas client is seeking (3) Contractor - SCM Administrator in Calgary, AB.

Job Overview:

In this exciting and expanding role, you will be working in the SCM Supplier Enablement team to stand-up a new cloud-based suite of e-billing applications. As the end-to-end supplier representative, you will become a system expert in SAP's latest e-billing applications as you conduct supplier onboarding, setup, testing, transaction monitoring, and system issue resolution.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Develop expertise in the latest versions of the following applications: SAP S4, Ariba Commerce Automation, Ariba Supply Chain Collaboration, and/or SAP Fieldglass
  • Partner with our SAP project team to execute supplier enablement onboarding strategy 
  • Provide support to suppliers during project onboarding and operational sustainment
  • Engage suppliers through continued communication and training to drive adoption 
  • Provide training and support to internal stakeholders related to the platforms
  • Identify opportunities related to the new platform deployment and supplier onboarding
  • Investigate & establish best practices for systems and processes to improve the procure to pay cycle
  • Support the development and sustainment of transaction reporting and monthly stewardship  

Experience and Education:

Must-haves (minimum requirements):

  • A post-secondary degree in supply chain, information technology or accounting OR
  • A General Education Diploma (GED) with 5+ years of progressive experience working in supply chain, information technology, or accounting
  • Strong end-user experience working with SAP or another large ERP

Preference for:

  • Post-secondary degree in supply chain, information technology, or accounting and 3+ years progressive experience in a relevant field
  • Super-user experience deploying or sustaining a large-scale ERP system
  • Experience working with SAP S4, SAP Ariba Network, Ariba Commerce Automation, Ariba Supply Chain Collaboration, or SAP Fieldglass
  • Experience working in a fast-paced dynamic project environment
  • Oil & Gas industry experience 

Skills and Knowledge:

Must-haves (minimum requirements):

  • Strong end-user skills using SAP or other ERP platforms
  • Strong administrative level skills using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills in English
  • Strong customer relationship management skills

Preference for:

  • Super-user level knowledge of SAP S4, SAP Fieldglass, SAP Ariba Commerce Automation, and/or Ariba Supply Chain Collaboration
  • A tech-savvy mind that understands system and how they operate
  • A business mind with strong judgment, decision-making, and an aptitude for change
  • Well-developed social skills with the ability to build effective working relationships
  • Ability to handle multiple competing priorities and tight deadlines
  • Proven analytical abilities in Microsoft Excel and PowerBI
  • Track record of identifying and deploying continuous improvement opportunities
  • An optimistic, driven, take-charge attitude
